Despite the new economic situation, the industry keeps strong and competitive. Even with the real drop
of nearly 9% in 2015, compared to the previous year, we believe in our industry's recovery as the third
largest market in the world, since the essentiality ot Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfumary products goes
beyond maintaining health and the best consumefs quality of life.
lt is also present in its capacity for changing by tostering innovation, creating job opportunities and
promoting entrepreneurship, thus boosting our country's economy.
However, we are going through a new political moment in Brazil, allowing us to have a more optimistic
view. Therefore, ABlHPEC - as a representativa ot the Cosmetics, Toiletries and Perfumary Brazilian
industry - will continue to defend even more forcefully a positive agenda in the levels of the Federal and
State Government, which creates a tavorable business environment for investment in the domestic and
international market and that allows us to grow again in the next tew years.
Seeking to overcome the main obstacles, we are proposing an agenda that will give us the opportunity
to stimulate the creation of a Simplified tax system; the speed in the regularization of products with the
National Agency of Sanitary Surveillance (ANVISA), and seeking to encourage our authorities to stimulate
innovation and technology in a industn/ as dynamic as ours.
We know that the entrepreneurs ot all sizes are concerned with the economic crisis, so we are following
closely the new directions taken by the country and seeking to sensitize the authorities capable ot making
decisions and make them becoming policies that help an industry essential for Brazilian society.
We are certain that we need, more than ever, to get together and overcome our current challenges. We
hope that these changes to be effective and produce the desired effect, which is the resumption of growth.
